Fun with Fish

As a habitat, the Harlem Meer, located in the northwestern section of Central Park, is home to a wide variety of fish including, largemouth bass, bluegill sunfish, carp, pumpkinseed sunfish and chain pickerel.

If you want to learn all about these underwater creatures, head to the Fun with Fish event on Saturday, July 31, 2010.  From 11AM- 2PM, the free event will educate all about this aquatic ecology.

Equipment is provided for the catch and release fishing; arts-n-crafts will also be part of the fun.
