Nuyorican Poets Cafe at SummerStage

It is the 25th Anniversary of the free arts and entertainment gracing SummerStage. On Wednesday, June 30th, 2010, legendary poets Miguel Algarin, Sandra Maria Estevez, Lois Friffith and Edwin Torres are set to perform at Rumsey Playfield at 7PM.
The Nuyorican Poets Cafe is a multicultural and multi-arts institution that nurtures new work by established artists from every discipline and gives voice to rising poets, actors, filmmakers and musicians who have not yet found a consistent haven for their work.
