Join us for a fresh alternative to the tired old happy hour scene at the Harlem Meer Social Hour, the Central Park Conservancy's exciting series of free monthly programs for adults.
Nestled near the northeastern corner of Central Park, the Conservatory Garden is one of the greatest hidden treasures of New York City. On display now at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center is a special exhibit, Serene Pleasure: the Conservatory Garden. Featuring the photographs of Sara Cedar Miller, Diane Schaub, and Lynden B. Miller, this exhibit reveals the rich history of the Garden and its site; explores the wide array of diverse beauty the Garden offers throughout the year; and looks at how this magical setting plays an important role in the lives of New Yorkers. This Harlem Meer Social Hour program gives you an opportunity to meet Diane Schaub in person, featured photographer and Conservatory Garden Curator. Meet at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center for some snacks and a look at the exhibit, and then marvel at the real thing when Diane leads you on a guided tour to the Garden.
Refreshments are provided and plenty of time for mingling is included. Advance registration not required. FREE. For more information call 212-860-1370
