Judith Wolfe

Judith updates the Central Park Zoo information as changes take place. She is a native New Yorker and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, Rhode Island where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting.

After September 11th her creative interests expanded and changed - as had the City. After years of painting and printmaking landscapes and botanical imagery she merged her love of animals into her art work and photography. Her work is in many private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, including the US State Department's Embassy Art Bank program, the RISD permanent collection, Johnson & Johnson and The New York Graphic Society. One of her prints was purchased by UNICEF and hangs in their headquarters in Switzerland.

An avid conservationist, she has been a volunteer at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Central Park Zoo since 1990. Come visit the Zoo and catch Judy chatting about the animals on any given Friday.

As a member of the New York Road Runners Club she completed five NYC Marathon and has wisely called it a day and hung up her running shoes and medals. Ambling through the Park now seems like a better idea.

Her Lobo Howls Movie Reviews are in their 10th year with over 900 reviews floating out there in cyberspace. If you are interested in getting these reviews, or wish to be on her weekly Photo Zoo list, contact her through her website, www.judithwolfe.com
