kevin austin (eggyoz)

I would like to introduce myself as artist Kevin Austin who grew up in Liverpool in the same area and time as John Lennon and recently completed 2 works covering the history of Strawberry Fields set around the early 50â€™s which I believe will be of great interest. They depict the Strawberry Field Orphange and grounds with its famous gates early 50's where young John played with lasting impressions. I now live in Malvern in Worcestershire uk and have 3 grown up children.

Favorite Central Park place: The Strawberryfields memorial in Central Park makes mention of the Orphange in Liverpool where all those yrs ago John Lennon played. I feel my paintings complete the loop as I believe it has never been depicted as paintings before. Considerable research has been done for the accuracy of the original victorian house demolished in the 70's together with the iconic gates still standing today which incidently a glimpse is shown in the new film 'Nowhere Boy'.
