Study Supports Central Park Lawn Restrictions

The National Council of Arab Americans and the Act Now to Stop War & End Racism Coalition had accused the city of allowing use of the lawn in a discriminatory fashion after being denied a permit for a 75,000-person rally just prior to the 2004 Republican National Convention.
The study, which the city was required to pay for under the settlement, was released Tuesday.
