Providing inspiration and renewal to some 25 million visitors annually, Central Park is one of New York City’s most beloved and best-known institutions. But did you know that it takes $25 million each year to maintain and preserve the Park, AND that the bulk of this money comes from private citizens? For the past 25 years, the Central Park Conservancy, the private, not-for-profit organization that cares for the Park, has depended on the generosity of New Yorkers like yourself to ensure that Central Park remains an urban haven for all to enjoy.
