Wi-Fi networks now in Central Park
Published on Aug 24, 2006
There is something in the air in Central Park. After months of delays, the park officially became Wi-Fi.
And the laptops were out to prove it.
The way it works: There are several Wi-Fi hot spots around the park that enable park goers to access the Internet through laptops, cell phones and other devices.
Those areas include the Dairy, Summer Stage, Sheep Meadow, The Delacorte Theater, The Dana Discovery Center and the Arsenal.
