Blind activists afraid for their safety took on bicyclists in Central Park one-by-one in the wake of a crash there that left a blind triathlete hospitalized. Blind lawyer Richard Bernstein broke his pelvis and hip after being hit in Central Park on Aug. 13. So Ellen Rubin and fellow blind activist Audrey Schading hit Central Park Wednesday with members of Transportation Alternative, which pitches bicycling safety.
