and are the earliest examples of an area of the park being designated specifically for sports. Around the diamonds there are bleachers for the convenience of spectators as well as a nearby snack kiosk and restroom facilities. Just south of the fields you'll find Umpire Rock, apparently named for its commanding view of the games being played below.

Location : Seventh Avenue & Central Park South from 61st to 63rd Streets

Details: Restrooms are located at the nearby playground
