Wireless Access in Central Park
After years of delays and missed deadlines (the original due date for Central Park was fall 2005) Wi-Fi Salon has finally thrown in the towel because it could not find corporate sponsors. The limited Wi-Fi service that had been available in the park this past year was quietly shut down in October, 2008. The city has announced it has plans for new network in the near future.
