Supervised wall climbing is available for adults and children (ages 8 and up) at the North Meadow Recreation Center. Bouldering also is available in Central Park.
Where: North Meadow Recreation Center, mid-Park at 97th Street.
When: Click on Recreation Programs/Adventure for dates and times of adult climbing instruction, and introduction to climbing classes, and open climbing sessions.
How: Fees vary, and registration is required. Call the North Meadow Recreation Center at (212) 348-4867 ext 14 for more information.
Permit Requirement: No permit required.
