A fine art black and white photograph of Central Park's famous Balto statue. The park's most popular statue among both young and old visitors, it celebrates the heroism of Balto, the lead pack dog who helped deliver life saving anti-diphtheria serum to Nome Alaska in 1925.

In this photograph by noted artist Lance Evans, Balto is seen in a uniquely heroic position. And we are also able to clearly read his name engraved on the stone in front. Mr. Evans work has been seen in museum and gallery shows throughout New York, and has been reviewed in the New York Times, Art in America and Artspeak.

This individually hand signed open edition Giclée is printed on acid free archival substrate with an estimated life expectancy of over 200 years. It measures 16” x 20” (WxH), with an actual image size of approximately 11”x17”. Its lower inscription reads:
