Bugs Away at the Harlem Meer
to
Located in the northern end of the park, the Harlem Meer, covering 11 acres, is the second largest artificial body of water in Central Park and the perfect spot for getting in touch with nature.
On Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1PM, head to the Harlem Meer to watch the varied species of aquatic bugs as they soar and dance over the water. After spending some time observing the bugs, the Urban Park Rangers will lead a walk through a wildflower meadow in search of colorful butterflies.
