A Clearing in the Forest Series

Combining eco-education and multicultural family activities, the "A Clearing in the Forest" Series features a wide variety of fun dance, music, art, puppets and storytelling events.

On Sundays at 1PM, families can visit the The Peter Jay Sharp Children's Glade, inside the park at West 106th Street, for an afternoon of fun.

July 25: Landscape-inspired CircusYoga Workshop
August 1: Rock and Roll Garden Songs with the Bari Koral Family Rock Band
August 22: African Woodland Dance with Nafisa Sharriff
August 29: Critter Tales and Puppet-making with Robin Bady
September 12: Native American Myth in Puppetry with the Mettawee River Theater Company
September 26: Seneca Village in Story and Music with Linda Humes
