Using activity sheets, crayons, and rubber leaf molds, you’ll construct a booklet to take home with you that includes educational activities and showcases your leaf rubbings from common trees found in the Park.When you’re finished, make sure to partake in our other Earth Day in Central Park events. More ongoing festivities on the 20th include Earth Day Face Painting at the Chess & Checkers House from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, Earth Day in Central Park live musical entertainment and family activities at Rumsey Playfield from 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm, and Sun Mother Wakes the World and Other Tales for Earth Day at the Dana Discovery Center from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.FREE.
