Global Citizen 2017
Steve Wonder. The Killers. Green Day. The Lumineers. The Chainsmokers — these artists and more will be playing to a crowd of some 60,000 Global Citizens in New York City’s Central Park on Sept. 23.
And the best part — those Global Citizens will be there because they took action as part of Global Citizen’s campaign to end poverty and fight inequalities by 2030.
Pharrell Williams, Big Sean, Andra Day, and Alessia Cara will also perform.
The musical artists will stand together with Global Citizens to call on leaders in the US and around the world to uphold their responsibility to end poverty, tackle climate change, and fight inequalities by 2030.
How do you get tickets?
Tickets to this much anticipated event cannot be bought, in fact, they’re free!
To earn tickets, download the Global Citizen app here, and start taking action.
Each action you take not only earns you points, but also helps us solve some of the world’s greatest challenges.
Once you earn enough points, you will be entered into a lottery. If you win, you will receive two tickets to the festival, along with the satisfaction of knowing that you contributed to helping solve the world’s biggest challenges.
But, if you don’t get a ticket the first time, don’t worry — you can take actions in the next Action Journey, earn more points, and be eligible for the next ticket draw.
Action Journeys will start on Aug. 1, Aug. 15, Aug. 29, and Sept. 15.
