Swing dance, picnics, and great jazz for the whole family!

Head up to the Great Hill to enjoy an afternoon of great jazz presented by JazzMobile and the Central Park Conservancy.

Bring the family, relax with a picnic, or swing dance to your heart's content. This is a free, family-friendly event.

Artists

• Tammy McCann - an internationally recognized jazz vocalist from Chicago
• Antonio Hart Quartet - Antonio is a Grammy-nominated saxophonist who has performed and recorded with jazz greats including Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Hargrove, Nancy Wilson, and Nat Adderley.
• The Jimmy Heath Legacy Band - co-founder of Jazzmobile, Jimmy Heath is one of the most prolific jazz artists of all time and will be honored by members of his big band who will be swinging under the leadership of Antonio Hart and Douglas Purviance.

Tips:

There will be portable toilets on site for this event, as well as a bathroom near the Great Hill.

This location is wheelchair accesible by means of a ramp. To avoid stairs, enter at West 108th at Central Park West and travel south down the path to the Great Hill.

There will be a refill water station, but no concession. Bring a picnic or order a picnic that can be delivered. Several options are available.

Bring your own blanket and/or chairs.
