InterSchool Orchestra's Free Mother's Day Concert

Comprised of children between the ages of six and nineteen years old, the InterSchool Orchestra is putting on a concert at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 9, 2010.

The concert, geared towards mothers but open to all, is free and will start at 3:30 PM.  The group will be performing The Runaway Bunny and Goodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown.

The organizers of the event will have a musical "petting zoo" before the concert to introduce the audience to the various types of orchestra instruments that will be played during the show.
