Jimmy Eat World / Royal Bangs

Jimmy Eat World got their start in 1994 and has gained a reputation for being a band of great perseverance and hard work. Since the 1999 release of their breakthrough debut album Clarity, they’ve sold millions of records, have had numerous top ten singles at Modern Rock Radio, appeared on Saturday Night Live and have toured with Foo Fighters, Green Day and Weezer. Jimmy Eat World’s eighth and latest studio album, Damage, is set to be released in June.
Knoxville, Tennessee trio Royal Bangs peddle in the sort of noise pop that's insidiously catchy enough to get you whistling in inappropriate situations while also being rough around the edges enough to attract the interest of The Black Keys' Patrick Carney, who released their 2008 debut We Breed Champions on his label.
