NYRR: TCS New York City Marathon Long Training Run #2

Gearing up to run the TCS New York City Marathon or another fall marathon? Get in some long-distance practice with these runs; featuring built-in fuel, pace-setters, and training partners.
Participants will be divided into groups by half-minute intervals from 7:00 through 11:00+ minutes per mile. All groups will cover 20 miles, but individuals may shorten their distance to suit their training needs. Runners faster than 7:00 per mile may begin before the 7:00 group; however, no pace leader will be provided. The official course will close at 11:00 a.m. Water, PowerGel, and Gatorade Endurance Formula will be available on the 102nd Street Transverse throughout the run.
