Summer Streets 2015
to
Saturday August 1, 8 and 15 from 7AM to 1PM, along Park avenue from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park and 72nd Street, the streets are closed to vehicular traffic. Nearly seven miles of NYC streets are opened to the public to run, bike, play and walk in. The theme this year is accessibility - providing opportunities for all members of the public to experience city streets in new ways through participation in unique interactive activations, which transform streets into spaces of play, fitness and relaxation.
Last year, 300,000 people attended Summer Streets and enjoyed hundreds of exciting free events along the route.
Location: 72nd Street and Central Park (Fifth Avenue) down to the Brooklyn Bridge and back.
All events are free, to learn more about Summer Street, please click here.
