The SummerStage 25th Anniversary Celebration

The 2010 SummerStage season begins on Tuesday, June 8th with a big anniversary event and benefit!  From 6PM to 10PM, guests will gather at Rumsey Playfield (mid-park at 70th Street) to raise funds and hear music.

In association with Michael Dorf and City Winery, the event will feature the songbook of Simon & Garfunkel performed by an eclectic assortment of musical acts including, Shawn Colvin, Aimme Man, Dar Williams, Joan Osbourne, Cory Chisel, John Forte, Ricky Skaggs, Paula Cole and many more.  The concert will start at 8PM.


Guests who purchase a table will attend a special cocktail party at 6PM in the Pergola Area of Rumsey Playfield.  A full dinner will be served to tables of ten; tables of four will receive a light snack.  Both get bar service.

All funds raised during this 25th Anniversary event go to support free SummerStage events and other free programming provided by the City Park's Foundation year-round.
