Whodini: Brooklyn-based R&B/Rap group Whodini has been a mandatory staple in the Hip Hop scene since 1982 when they went on-air with Mr. Magic’s “Rap Attack” on WHBI radio. The duo (Jalil Hutchins and John “Ecstasy” Fletcher) went on to tour with fellow hip hop icons including Kurtis Blow and Run-DMC, and collaborated with Public Enemy.
Big Daddy Kane: Known by many monikers including Dark Gable, Black Caesar and King Asiatic Nobody’s Equal, Big Daddy Kane has long been one of hip hop’s most lyrical, diverse, innovative, trendsetting M.C.’s . The baritone voiced, Bed-Stuy native is known for his rapid fire, metaphoric battle rap style, and has several certified Gold albums to his name.
