DiscOasis at Wollman Rink

Disco roller skating is happening this summer at Wollman Rink.

What is DiscOasis?

DiscOasis is an immersive, funky, roller disco experience at Wollman Rink. You can roller-skate to the sounds of 70s era disco curated by Nile Rodgers as well as others. There will be guest DJs, interactive installations, live theatrical performances, light shows and more.

When is this happening?

DiscOasis begins on June 16th, 2022 and continues for a limited engagement.

What days of the week is roller skating available?

Wednesday through Sundays.

What are the hours?

Both daytime and evening sessions are available. Daytime sessions are from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You can choose between purchasing one hour sessions or 3 hour sessions. Evening sessions run from 5:30 PM to 10 PM which includes 2 hours of skate time plus a host of other experiences to enjoy at your leisure.

How do I buy tickets?

We recommend purchasing timed entry tickets online due to the event's limited capacity. You can also purchase tickets on site at the box office when tickets are available or by phone:  213-267-8786.

What if I don't roller skate?

Roller skating is a central part of DiscOasis but there are plenty of other activities to experience. During evening hours there will be live DJs spinning music and a dance floor next to the rink.

Is DisOasis family friendly?

Yes, the DiscOasis is appropriate for all ages. However, we recommend that children attend during the day or in the earlier evening session.

Do I need my own roller-skates?

You can use your own or rent quad roller-skates at the event for $10. Socks must be worn and will be available for purchase if you forget yours. You may bring and use your own roller blades if you prefer.

What about safety gear?

Helmets, knee-pads, and wrist guards are not available for rent. A limited supply could be available for purchase in the shop if you are interested.

Are there Covid-19 restrictions?

Vaccinations are not required. Masks are not required indoors but is subject to change according to state mandates.

Can I bring a group?

Are WRAP tickets available for this event?

Yes.

Yes, the food & beverage service will be available.
