Wild Food and Ecology Tour in Central Park

Wildman Steve Brill teaches his family tradition of foraging for wild food. He opens his 28th season on Saturday, March 6th in Central Park - a place of varied habitats and a combination of wild and cultivated, native and exotic plants. Some expected cold-weather finds include daylily shoots, chickweed, garlic mustard, sheperd's purse, sheep sorrel and more.
Steve's tours and presentations feature a great diversity and abundance of seasonal edible and medicinal wild plants or mushrooms.

Suggested Donation: $15 ($10 for children under 12), sliding scale. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Please bring exact change. Gift certificates are available.
