In celebration of its second anniversary, MillionTreesNYC is introducing a lecture series this October, bringing some of the country's premier experts in urban forestry to discuss the vital role city trees and our urban forests play in combating global warming, improving our health and well-being, and contributing to community revitalization and economic development. This information series launches on Monday, October 5 with David Allen Sibley, acclaimed author who recently penned The Sibley Guide to Trees.
