Summer Shake Up

Whether they love to read, see or perform in Shakespeare's plays, students in 6th grade and up may have the opportunity to get backstage.  On Friday, July 16th, 2010, the Public Theater, the brains behind the annual Shakespeare in the Park production, is inviting students to its Summer Shake Up workshop.

From 9AM- 12 PM, students that register before the July 9th deadline, are invited to the Delacorte Theater for a unique experience.

Designed for ages 12 years old and up, participants will have the opportunity to experience Shakespearean works through games and interactive improvisations.  Plus, just like the stars that perform Shakespeare in the Park every summer, they will be able to grace the stage at the Delacorte!The workshop is free.  Individuals, groups and classes are all invited to attend.
