Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt in Central Park

Please note: The Easter Egg Hunt no longer takes place in Central Park. For information about other egg hunts, please contact the NYC Parks Department.

Alternative family-friendly activities to do in the spring include taking a bike tour or walking tour of the park, as well as a traditional horse and carriage ride

In past years the Easter Egg Hunt took place in Central Park at the Great Hill (106th street on the west side). The events of the day included carnival games, face painting, and egg decorating. Children could get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny and win prizes.

It typically took place on the Saturday before Easter, from 11:00am to 1:00pm as a free event.
