Roses grow throughout the world, especially North America, Africa, and Europe. The rose blooms throughout the summer and into the mid fall. Many varieties of roses can be found in the Conservatory Garden, especially white, red, pink, and other vibrant colors. Roses grow on shrubs that can reach several feet tall, and are known for the prickly thorns that appear on their stems.
