Adopting a Bench is a great way to support Central Park. Established in 1986, the Adopt-a-Bench program has led to the adoption of over 2,000 of the Park's 9,000 benches.

The majority of benches can be adopted with a donation of $7,500, while a limited number of rustic benches can be adopted for $25,000. Those who make these donations receive a personalized plaque on the bench that they choose. There are four styles of benches available for adoption in specified areas: wood and concrete benches, rustic benches, world's fair benches, and Central Park settees.
