Donald Trump Steps in to Save Central Park Carousel

After the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation dumped the Central Park Carousel's longtime operator over maintenance issues, Donald Trump has generously stepped in to save the attraction and keep it running throughout the spring and summer. Trump will reportedly pay $7,500 per month for the next six months as part of this endeavor.
The current carousel, built in 1951 and the fourth of its kind at the location, is one of the country’s largest and features 58 hand-carved horses and two chariots. It is located just off the park’s 65th Street Transverse.
