Large elm tree hits parked car.

Heavy winds and excessive rain caused a 100-year old elm tree to uproot itself and topple over onto a parked car on Fifth Avenue and East 93rd Street on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Luckily no one was injured in the accident, although the car of Lana Choi, who was not inside during the incident, was crushed.  Officials say that this tree was the largest in the entire park.  This tree is just one of the hundreds that has fallen due to the high winds and snow this winter.
