If you are looking to plan a larger-scale picnic, please check with the New York Department of Parks and Recreation. Parties of more than 20 people require a special permit which must be obtained in advance. In addition, factors including planned activities, location within the park, use of tables and chairs and others, also determine whether a permit is needed.
Any great picnic requires planning and our online store has many of the essentials that you'll need to get started. For a clean, dry surface to spread out on, check out the Water Resistant Picnic Blanket and Carrier or the Coffee and Blanket Tote. Pack all of your food and drink items into the Central Park Picnic Backpack, the Collapsible Picnic Basket for Two or the Casual Picnic Basket for Two. For a quick picnic on the run, consider the popular Picnic Set. Other fun picnic choices include an Eco-Friendly Tote, a Coffee Tote and for larger picnics a Cooler on Wheels.
