Puerto Rican Day Parade 2026
to
Celebrate culture and community at the annual Puerto Rican Day Parade on Fifth Avenue.
The National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP) returns on Sunday, June 14, 2026 for its 69th Annual celebration in New York City, running 35 city blocks along Fifth Avenue from 44th to 79th Street and drawing more than one million participants and spectators.
One of the largest cultural celebrations in the country, the parade is a showcase of Puerto Rican history, music, art, and achievement, honoring the 3.2 million inhabitants of Puerto Rico and over 5.8 million people of Puerto Rican heritage living across the United States.
2026 Theme: Somos Más Que 100x35
This year's theme declares something Puerto Ricans have always known: that the island's influence extends far beyond its geographic size. The phrase got a major moment at the 2026 Grammy Awards, when Bad Bunny accepted Album of the Year for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS and told the world that Puerto Rico is much more than 100 x 35 miles.
Artist Jorge Rafael Calderón, who has designed the official NPRDP theme artwork for three consecutive years, built the 2026 image around the island itself, surrounded by symbols of Puerto Rican legacy across music, folklore, science, and literature. The full design radiates outward, reflecting how far Puerto Rican culture and identity have traveled.
Official 2026 merch is available at teerico.com. Proceeds benefit the NPRDP Scholarship Fund.
