A visit to Central Park's 843 acres can really work up an appetite! While we love to picnic in the park and dine at the iconic restaurants inside the park, there are also plenty of fantastic food and drink options just outside the park as well.

Bourbon Steak

Burger Joint at Thompson Central Park

Located inside the lobby of the Thompson Central Park, the Burger Joint boasts the best burgers in New York City.
Harlem Biscuit Company
Location: MAP | 2082 Frederick Douglass Blvd.
A casual place to get authentic, southern-inspired biscuit sandwiches just north of the park.
Bemelmans Bar
Location: MAP | Carlyle Hotel 35 E 76th Street
Afternoon tea is a must for young daughters. Murals on the wall were done by Ludwig Bemelman, who also drew the Madeline books. Bemelman’s is the perfect spot to cozy up with a date or a few good friends and take in the beautiful murals on the walls, a good cocktail and some beautiful piano music.
21 Club
Location: MAP | 21 West 52nd St
American cuisine served in a setting that's both sophisticated and fun. Dine in the famous Bar Room or the romantic Upstairs at 21.
Good Enough to Eat / Telio Taverna
Location: MAP | 520 Columbus Ave
This great-value UWS favorite offers dining à la "Vermont" from 7 AM to 4 PM daily. Enjoy a simple American comfort-food menu in a "no-frills" setting that exudes farmhousey vibes. There is also outdoor seating. At night it transforms into Telio Taverna, serving up Greek and Italian cuisine from 5 PM to 10 PM nightly.
