Wollman Rink

The Wollman Rink is located on the east side, very close to the Central Park Zoo. It offers ice hockey, a skating school, party facilities, skate rentals, and lockers. For more information, call (212) 439-6900. 

Enter the Park at 59th and 6th Avenue or 59th and 5th Avenue. It opened for the season on October 24, 2015


  • Monday & Tuesday: 10:00am-2:30pm
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 10:00am-10:00pm
  • Friday & Saturday: 10:00am-11:00pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am-9:00pm
  • Thanksgiving: 10:00am-7:00pm (holiday rates apply)


  • Adults: $11.25 Mon-Thurs; $18.00 Fri-Sun
  • Children: (11 & under): $6.00 Mon-Sun
  • Seniors: $5.00 Mon-Thurs; $9.00 Fri-Sun
  • Skate Rentals: $8.00 (tax included)
  • Lock Rental: $5.00 (plus $6.00 refundable deposit)
  • Spectator Fee: $5.00

Planned opening day for ice skating is October 30th (weather permitting).

The Lasker Rink is located mid-Park between 106th and 108th Streets and converts from a swimming pool in the summer to an ice-skating rink during the winter months. It hosts skating, adult and youth hockey, lessons for all ages and abilities, skate rentals, and lockers. For more information, call 917-492-3856.

  • Monday - Thursday: 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Friday: 10:00am - 4:40pm & 6-9:30pm
  • Saturday: 1:00pm-11:00pm
  • Sunday 12:30pm-4:30pm

  • Children (11 & under): $4.00
  • Seniors: $2.25
  • Skate Rentals: $6.50 (tax included)

Central Park Conservancy offers a wide variety of recreation programs throughout the year, including these special wintertime clinics to teach kids the basics of ice skating – a time-honored Central Park tradition since the Lake opened in 1858.
Youth Beginner Ice Skating Clinics
Registration is now open!  
This free, 5-lesson ice skating clinic teaches the basic elements of ice skating through group and individual instruction. Each session includes equipment rental.  Ages 6-10.  Space is limited; pre-registration is required.  Each child may register for a maximum of two sessions. Location:  Lasker Rink, Mid-Park between 106th and 108th Streets (enter the Park at 110th Street and Lenox Avenue)
Time:  4:30 PM – 5:15 PM
Session 1:  Wednesdays, November 18 – December 9
Session 2:  Fridays, November 20 – December 11
Session 3:  Wednesdays, January 6 – February 3
Session 4:  Fridays, January 8 – February 5
