There is lots going on at the Central Park Zoo this summer. Along with all of the usual wonderful residents, we have twin Patagonian cavy babies (located at Tisch Children's Zoo), three swan geese goslings (also at the Tisch Children's Zoo), a Victorian Crowned Pigeon fledgling (in the Tropic aviary) and several Banded Mongoose babies (located upstairs in the Tropic Building).

The three California Sea Lions are always a treat to watch at the daily feedings at 11:30 am, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Cool off in the air conditioned penguin building where you can find four species of penguin - Gentoo, Chinstrap, King and Rockhopper.
Come visit. The summer hours are: Monday thru Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and weekends and holidays 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. View more awesome Zoo photos by Judith Wolfe here: http://whileatthezoo.com/
