For those that love Shakespeare and want to experience his masterpiece plays outdoors and for free in New York City’s Central Park, look no further.
The 2010 season of Shakespeare in the Park will feature two Shakespearean plays to be performed in repertory from June 9th through August 1st. This means that the audience gets eight straight weeks of free Shakespeare. Under directors Daniel Sullivan and Michael Greif, the same company of actors will perform in both The Merchant of Venice and The Winter’s Tale on rotating nights.
