Birders: The Central Park Effect

Devoting equal time and affection to birds and birders, first-time filmmaker Jeffrey Kimball explores a distinctly New York phenomenon, telling a story of humanity, nature and the precarious balance between the two. The Central Park Effect, one of a series of documentaries featured on HBO this summer, features John Fitzpatrick as a leading ornithologist and authority. The film runs 50+ minutes. Fitz will also be a featured panelist for the Q&A following the invitation only premiere screening on Thursday, July 12, 7pm, HBO's theater in NYC.
