This year’s showcase from the Latin Alternative Music Conference features a trio (plus 1 awesome DJ) of alt-pop artists hailing from Mexico, Spain and the United States. Latin Grammy-winning chanteuse Carla Morrison – a 2020 SummerStage Anywhere alumna – is back with El Renacimiento, her first album of new material in more than five years; Barcelona-based Love of Lesbian, whose recent album was nominated for 3 Latin Grammy Awards, play their debut show in NYC; and the new blood, a young Chicano singer and songwriter named DannyLux, has an updated take on regional Mexican sounds that’s taken him viral on TikTok and to the top of Billboard’s Latin chart.
