In 2016, the Central Park Model Yacht Club will celebrate its 100th anniversary, making them one of the oldest model yacht clubs in the country. People have been sailing model yachts on Central Park Conservatory Water for nearly 140 years.
Every Saturday from 10 AM till 1 PM between early April and late November you'll find racing at Conservatory Water just inside Central Park at Fifth Avenue between 72nd and 76th Streets.

Watch them race until 1:00pm then take one of their boats for a sail, get instructions and pointers, and see what RC sailing is all about.
