Central Park Solo Duathlon & Team Boat Relay

Don't miss out on the 41st Annual Central Park Solo Duathlon & Team Boat Relay. This race combines running, biking, and rowing for a dynamic and scenic challenge.
Race Formats
- Solo Duathlon: Run 2.2 miles, bike 12 miles (two laps around the park loop), then run another 2.2 miles.
- Team Boat Relay (2-person team): One teammate runs 2.2 miles, the other bikes 12 miles, then both teammates row a 0.7-mile loop together on the Central Park Lake.
Course Highlights
- Run courses start and end near the Central Park Boathouse, winding along the park’s east side, with a turnaround near the 96th Street Playground.
- The bike course loops twice around Central Park, avoiding Harlem Hill due to construction, with scenic views and challenging rolling hills.
- The rowing portion takes place on the Central Park Lake, passing landmarks like Bethesda Fountain and Bow Bridge, finishing at the boat dock.
Registration & Eligibility
- Open to athletes ages 18 and older.
- Registration closes October 2, 2025.
- Entry fees vary by race format.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are welcome from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM on race day to help with race operations.
Additional Information
- This event is not USAT certified or sanctioned; no racing license required.
- Transition area and race start located at the Central Park Boathouse parking lot.
- Assistance provided for boat boarding by Central Park Boathouse staff.
