Shakespeare in the Park presents "Coriolanus"
Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan directs the first adaptation of this classic tragedy since its 1979 performance in Central Park.
In one of the final tragedies that he wrote before his death, Shakespeare presents a ravaged city of Rome, with its hero Caius Marcius Coriolanus elected to bring back peace to an otherwise divided nation. Coriolanus’ efforts bring upon unexpected consequences.
