Dance Is Life is a free, inclusive, intergenerational dance party celebrating the Latin Hustle, a partner dance originating in the early 1970s South Bronx by Puerto Rican and Black youth. It embraces non-traditional gender roles (inviting any gender to lead, follow, or even swap roles) and honors LGBTQ+ contributions. While centered on Latin Hustle, Dance Is Life events welcome all street and club dance styles.
