This summer's festival closes with Despers USA Steel Orchestra. Despers USA is the oldest New York-based offshoot of the legendary Desperadoes Steel Orchestra of Trinidad and Tobago. The founders continue to cultivate and share the art of steel pan music. Despers players range in age from seven to seventy, and the band has performed across the world, alongside acts like The Rolling Stones and Jimmy Buffet.

This is a free, family-friendly community event overlooking the beautiful Harlem Meer.
