Rarely do two figures of such prominence get to perform together; however, Eddie Palmieri, the New York pioneer of Latin jazz and salsa music, will join Tony Vega, the culture-shifting salsa bandleader and singer, for a very special night at SummerStage 2018. Being the first artist to win a Grammy Award for best Latin Recording in 1975, Palmieri is regarded as one of the most iconic Puerto Rican artists to emerge from the New York scene.
