Swing dance, picnics, and great jazz for the whole family!

Head up to the Great Hill to enjoy an afternoon of great jazz presented by JazzMobile and the Central Park Conservancy.

Bring the family, relax with a picnic, or swing dance to your heart's content. This is a free, family-friendly event.

• Emcee: Lezlie Harrison - is a vocalist and a co-founder of New York's world-renowned Jazz Gallery. Harrison is also a regular curator and on-air host on WBGO 88.3 FM.
• Jeremy Pelt - one of the preeminent trumpeters in the world of jazz.
• Wycliffe Gordon - Trombonist of the Year a record-breaking 15 times. Gordon is a former veteran member of the Wynton Marsalis Septet and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra.
• Bobby Sanabria Multiverse Big Band - Bandleader Bobby Sanabria is an acclaimed Afro-Cuban jazz drummer and percussionist with eight Grammy nominations to his name.

Tips:

There will be portable toilets on site for this event, as well as a bathroom near the Great Hill.

This location is wheelchair-accessible by means of a ramp. To avoid stairs, enter at West 108th at Central Park West and travel south down the path to the Great Hill.

There will be a refill water station, but no concession. Bring a picnic or order a picnic that can be delivered. Several options are available.

Bring your own blanket and/or chairs.
