Despers USA Steel Orchestra at Harlem Meer Performance
The first band to win ten New York Steel Band panorama titles and the only in history to win six consecutive titles Despers Steel Orchestra USA was founded in 1976 by members of Desperadoes Steel Orchestra of Trinidad and Tobago. The band has members of all ages. Their motto "Deeply Emotional Spirited Players Executing Rhythmical Sounds" gives us the clue of their spirit-lifting performance.
