You’re invited to our annual after-hours, adults-only Valentine’s Day event, Jungle Love! Explore the mystery of creature courtship with our very own Dr. Love, Central Park Zoo director Dan Wharton—an expert in the wild ways of amour. Mingle with monkeys, birds, tortoises, and other animal lovers in the Zoo’s steamy Rain Forest, and enjoy tropical cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Not for the faint of heart, Jungle Love explores wooing techniques and relationship woes that are universal to the animal kingdom. Dr. Wharton, who is responsible for the sex lives of gorillas and snow leopards in cooperative breeding programs across the U.S., will be happy to share some of his experiences and techniques with you!
